ACORN MEDIA offers up an exciting new release – My Gift Lvl 9999 Unlimited Gacha: Backstabbed in a Backwater Dungeon, I’m Out for Revenge! – a brilliant, action-filled Japanese anime series directed by Katsushi Sakurabi (Gunparade March) with animation from famed Japanese studio J.C.Staff. This epic 12-parter blends fantasy, adventure, drama, violence and magic into one enthralling quest for revenge.
Based on Shisui Meikyō’s Japanese light novel and manga series, embark on the adventure of a lifetime with this exciting new genre-bending anime series set to arrive on Blu-ray on 26 October 2026.
In ancient times, nine races were born: dragonutes, elves, onifolk, dwarves, demonkin, dark elves, centaurs, beast folk – and humans, who have ended up at the bottom of the hierarchy. Despite facing daily prejudice, a young human named Light hopes to become a great adventurer, leaving his family behind and setting off with his Unlimited Gacha – an endless lottery-style power that allows him to materialise randomly rolled cards into existence.
Though his power is initially seen as useless, his luck begins to turn when he is recruited into the Concord of the Tribes – a party intended to represent the nine races and defeat discrimination. But when the group ventures out to the most dangerous dungeon in the realm, his comrades unexpectedly attack and abandon him in its depths.
Just as death seems certain, Light uses his magical Unlimited Gacha skill to summon Mei, a Level 9999 warrior maid who swears her loyalty to the young human. Astonished to learn that he’s much more powerful than anyone imagined, Light’s thoughts turn to revenge, and he starts to create a powerful kingdom deep underground, filled with loyal Level 9999 fighters. Now a mighty Overlord himself, he’s ready to return to the surface and cut a bloody path of vengeance.
For a must-see epic tale of betrayal and retribution, treat yourself to My Gift Lvl 9999 Unlimited Gacha: Backstabbed in a Backwater Dungeon, I’m Out for Revenge!.
