Bazooka Bunny is a production and visual effects company dedicated to making great films and television programmes. On top of making their own content though, the company has developed cutting edge AI software to be able to restore and upscale films and videos. To test it out and showcase their abilities, Bazooka Bunny have begun restoring vintage public domain titles and releasing them on their YouTube channel, with a new film or serial episode to watch twice a week. On top of a handful of classic Lone Ranger episodes, they’ve posted upscaled versions of Biggles, Paper Tigers and Charade. Some of the black and white titles have been colourised too, which is sacrilege in my eyes, but it shows what their software is capable of.
