Tintin
Steven Speilberg and Peter Jackson release the first pictures of the all new Tintin to Empire magazine The film titled, The adventures of Tintin: The secret of the unicorn is thought to be out in October next year. Using CGI the directors aim to bring the two-dimensional characters from the popular books into 3d.
The film will star Simon Pegg and Nick Frost as Thompson and Thomson as well as Cary Elwes, Toby Jones, Mackenzie Crook and Daniel Mays. For images and entire cast list pick yourself up a copy of the latest Empire magazine.

Bond 23
Although MGM have filed for bankruptcy, they aim to have bond 23 out by November 2012. For bond 23 MGM will keep all rights of the film whilst another studio will fund it. After this film, MGM are aiming to own and fund Bond 24.

Dark Stir
After a not so great collaboration with Alice in Wonderland, Tim Burton and Jonny Depp will return to gothic horror with their latest film Dark Shadows. Based on the 60’s gothic daytime soap, Depp will be able to realise a childhood dream when he plays the star of the show, vampire Barnabas Collins, who searches for his lost love, Josette.

Spider man
The latest spider man cast list so far; Sally Field as Aunt May, Martin Sheen as Uncle Ben, Rhys Ifans as Dr. Curt Connors/The Lizard, Emma Stone as love interest Gwen Stacy, Andrew Garfield as Peter Parker.

X-men: First Class
It has been announced that Hugh Jackman will not be cameoing in X-men: First Class Matthew Vaughan’ prequel will be released in 02 June 2011.

Ghost Busters 3
Headed by Sony the film could begin shooting as early as May next year, but is still waiting for the green light. It’s all a bit hush hush at the moment, lets wait and see.

The Hobbit
James Nesbit is the latest actor to be attached to The Hobbit. Nesbit will play Bofur in Peter Jackson’s two-parter. This most certainly isn’t the first confirmed UK TV talent to sign on to the movie, with Richard Armitage, Adrian Turner and Rob Kazinsky all having roles too.

Bought a Zoo
Director Cameron Crowe already has Matt Damon as Benjamin Mee, but has his eyes on Scarlett Johansson as leading lady. The film sees Damon as a widowed PA who buys and old English zoo. The film is set for release 23 Dec 2011

Mission impossible IV
Whilst filming in Dubai Tom Cruise released the new official name of the latest Mission impossible film; Mission: Impossible – Ghost Protocol.
