The Swiss boutique Blu-ray label Fokus Media have been making a name for themselves these past few years, releasing a range of cult classics on Blu-ray and UHD in handsomely presented editions. Their latest addition to their collection is the original 1980 slasher Prom Night, which is being released on UHD & Blu-ray in various editions. After an issue with the original pressing, they’ve gone back to the raw material to produce their own 4k restoration, replacing the initial discs with something much better.

Please note – though it’s a German-lanuage release, the films and on-disc extras are available in English. The booklet is in German though.
Also, due to the replacement programme, I’ve had to remove the plastic on the sets, in order to replace the discs. So, the set won’t be sealed.
