We’re stepping it up a notch with the latest episode of our regular podcast and introducing a new themed section. Instead of trawling through a list of all the miscellaneous DVD’s and films on TV that we’ve watched over the last fortnight, we’re going to discuss a film each that fits into that episode’s theme to give us a bit of more focused discussion. This episode is a Cannes special with reviews of past winners of the Palme d’Or. Between us we watched The Wind That Shakes The Barley, Barton Fink, Dancer in the Dark and Apocalypse Now.

For the rest of the show we talk about the buzz from this year’s festival and also have full reviews of some recent releases including Attack the Block, Hanna, Thirteen Assassins and Mary & Max.
