In the world of movies, a sequel can do either three things; 1) not live up to the first movie, which isn’t too disastrous. 2) it can totally wreck the series or last but not least 3) it can succeed and can either be on the same level as the first movie or better. Toy Story 2 does the latter as everything is improved, which you wouldn’t have thought was possible since Toy Story is the perfect family movie.

The story is about Woody being kidnapped by an obsessive toy collector namely Al who owns Al’s Toy Barn and so, the toys from Andy’s room go out on a rescue mission to get their friend back. Pixar doesn’t fail when it comes to entertaining and charming their audience as you’ll see when watching the movie. Toy Story 2 is simply better than the first because the story has more emotion to it and more tear-jerking moments, especially with Jesse. Another thing you get to love are new characters, the three main ones being Jesse the yodelling cowgirl, Bullseye the horse and Stinky Pete the Prospector and they add more charm and humour to the story. Yet again, Pixar manage to throw in a few issues for the children and adults to think about such as fear, loyalty and abandonment.

Tom Hanks and Tim Allen are brilliant voice actors and their voices really suit the toys, you couldn’t imagine anyone else but Tim Allen voicing Buzz Lightyear, he’s perfect for the role. The rest of the cast do an amazing job with lending their voices to the toys as they make the toys that little bit more believable and alive. The animation has improved Buy Viagra Professional Online Pharmacy No Prescription Needed from the first Toy Story but only by a bit. It’s a little more colourful and bright and Pixar really put a lot of love and time into making Toy Story 2 and it shows through the quality of the animation. Toy Story is already a classic and has made history for being the first ever completed computer-animated movie and Toy Story 2 safely follows in its predecessor’s footsteps through quality, loveable characters and fantastic storytelling. Disney and Pixar strikes again, not only is Toy Story 2 that little bit better than the first movie but it’s also an instant classic and, like Toy Story, it will be adored by children and adults in the present and in the future.
