Benjamin Barker, a once timid law-abiding hairdresser who was unjustly imprisoned on the other side of the world for fifteen years has returned to London to seek vengeance. Armed with razors and the adopted guise of Sweeney Todd, Barker sets up business in his old barber shop above the pie-making premises of Mrs. Nellie Lovett. Enlisting the help of the pie purveyor, Barker sets about targeting Judge Turpin who, along with his henchman Beadle Bamford, shipped him off to Australia on a trumped-up charge in order to poach his wife Lucy and baby daughter.

Johnny Depp, Helena Bonham Carter, Sacha Baron Cohen, Alan Rickman and more star in this horror musical but does it deserve to get a ‘close shave’? The story was brilliantly told and fantastically written as it told the depressing times of Benjamin Parker otherwise known as Sweeney Todd and his besotted admirer Mrs. Lovett. The acting was fantastic, Johnny Depp and Helena Bonham Carter did a magnificent job as their characters as did the rest of their cast, their portrayal of the characters in the movie was done very well. The characters were written good and you felt how you were supposed to feel about them, some of them were just innocent and others weren’t. The character development was great and really portrayed Sweeney Todd in different lights and you could see the many sides of him. The location fit the movie fantastically and the direction, editing and the writing were great and the timing and pacing of the movie was near-enough perfect. Also, the songs fit the mood of the movie brilliantly.

Tim Burton is one of my favourite directors and Helena Bonham Carter is one of my favourite actresses and when I saw the trailer for Sweeney Todd, I knew I had to see it and I’m so glad I did. I really enjoyed this movie, Tim Burton has done a terrific job on directing such a dark and grim musical and by the way he’s done the movie, he makes you think he’s done it with ease. Johnny Depp and Helena Bonham Carter did a great job playing Sweeney Todd and Mrs. Lovett as their performances made their characters believable. This has to be one of Tim Burton’s best movies. The entire cast was fantastic as their characters and the crew did a great job on this movie, they should all give themselves a round of applause because this movie truly deserves it. This is a must for fans of horror movies and musicals. If you like one and don’t like the other, I don’t think Buy Cialis Online Pharmacy No Prescription Needed you would like this.

A fantastic movie with a brilliant cast and crew and good songs that fit the mood of the movie perfectly, truly a classic
