Chris Matic has watched all of the Harry Potter films back to back (glutton?) and Haiku’d (that’s right, it’s a verb now) them in a frenzy! To mark what will undoubtedly become the biggest grossing film of all time, here they are in all their miniature glory!
If you want to be updated throughout the month, then please follow our Twitter account @blueprintrev, and please feel free to tweet your own Haiku reviews (don’t forget #haikureview) and we’ll keep an eye out and re-tweet them; and of course post the best ones on this site.
HARRY POTTER & THE CHAMBER OF SECRETS
A very poor film that
Barely captures the drama
Of magical books
HARRY POTTER & THE PRISONER OF AZKABAN
The foreboding moon,
With a dark tone everywhere.
Getting better now
HARRY POTTER & THE GOBLET OF FIRE
Bum achingly long.
Awkwardly paced with ‘events’.
HARRY POTTER & THE ORDER OF THE PHOENIX
Taking a rambling paced book
And making it work
HARRY POTTER & THE HALF BLOOD PRINCE
But sets up the finale.
(And Dumbledore dies!)
HARRY POTTER & THE DEATHLY HALLOWS Part 1
For all the drama
This ‘object’ driven road film
has too much to-do
HARRY POTTER & THE DEATHLY HALLOWS Part 2
As it requires
a snappy Part two which is
just a long fight scene
