The Weekly Poll is back after a brief hiatus. This week I'm going to be tying the poll in with next week's podcast. Due to the currently ongoing Cannes Film Festival and the fact that we're going to start having a 'theme' for each podcast, each of us are going to watch at least one Palme d'Or winner from the past and discuss it. So I figured why not open the discussion up to the readers.

Now, the festival has been running for 72 years and there were far too many great films to choose from, so I narrowed down the choices to films after 1975, when the festival changed the name of it's main award back to the Palm d'Or (it changed between the Grand Prix and that a couple of times in previous years) and I've stuck with the more well known films. Don't let that stop you picking some of the less popular titles though, just use the 'other' category. The full list of winners can be found here.
