Here we are again with the delightful haikus. THOR is the whore this month, and Chris Matic provides us with a Nolan wank-fest. Enjoy!

If you want to be updated throughout the month, then please follow our Twitter account @blueprintrev, and please feel free to tweet your own Haiku reviews (don't forget #haikureview) and we'll keep an eye out and re-tweet them; and of course post the best ones on this site.

INCEPTION (Chris Matic)
The dreams within dreams
May Inspire or confuse
But trigger our brains

THE DARK KNIGHT (Chris Matic)
All the hype with Heath
Masks an overlong film with
Good performances.

THE PRESTIGE (Chris Matic)
When form and function
Work together with magic
The trick fascinates.

BATMAN BEGINS
Highlighting Bruch Wayne
Gives Batman some new found depth
In hackneyed genre

INSOMNIA (Chris Matic)
Al Pachino shines
In a taught, well done thriller
Better than average

MEMENTO (Chris Matic)
esrever ni dlot mlif
gniyfsitas dna xelpmoc
looc kool soottat sekam

FOLLOWING (Chris Matic)
Made over a year
Nolan starts his film career
Satisfying end.

DARK WATER (Chris Matic)
The creeps begin slow
In J-horror at its best
Terrified by end

MACGRUBER (Chris Matic)
Sub par action romp
Playing on MacGyver camp
Few giggles here though

@darrenleebolton

DR DOLITTLE
Star Wars? Godfather?
THIS is the best trilogy!
They are all perfect!

LINCOLN LAWYER
Good court-room drama
Matthew takes his shirt off once
That's the biggest twist!

CEDAR RAPIDS
I can't believe I'm
Even acknowledging this
Shit with a haiku!

INSIDIOUS
Darth Maul spin-off film
Starts great, and though gets silly
Still a fun thriller

THOR
Thor is brilliant
I never thought I'd say that
But it really is!

@shooting_fish

ALIEN
Ageless sci fi gem
Thrilling and terrifying;
Forget the damn cat!!

NEAR DARK
Pre-twilight vampire
By the cast of Aliens
Annoying music

ADRIFT
Based on true events?
Ocean based melodrama
Kinda watchable

@dave_or_did

MACHETE
Mexicans kick ass,
Blood flows freely in trash fest
Loses steam by end

THOR
Kenneth's hammer time,
Solid tone masks flimsy plot,
Good old fashioned fun

WATER FOR ELEPHANTS
Bland corny writing,
Kept afloat by its actors,
Uninspiring stuff

Our favourite (other) Haiku Reviewer

@dirtyvicar

THOR
This god gets grounded
Portman peruses some pecs
Go on, get hammered

NO STRINGS ATTACHED
She tries not to care.
You’ll struggle to care at all.
Please, Portman, don’t slum.

THE ILLUSIONIST
It is a brilliant
film or just the illusion
of a brilliant one?
