Yet another horror festival to plug this week (can you tell it’s Halloween?). This time it’s Aberystwyth’s very own Abertoir Horror Film Festival (can you see what they did there?). In it’s fifth year now, the festival boasts an eclectic line-up of not only the latest and greatest horror films including the controversial remake of I Spit On Your Grave and the classic The Cat And The Canary (with live piano accompaniment), but also a variety of live entertainment including a performance by The Damned and a reading of two M.R. James ghost stories.

Abertoir runs over five days from Wednesday 10th November to Sunday 14th and passes for the whole festival cost a mere £47.50. Single tickets are also available if you only want to catch a film or two. Head over to their website for more details.
